FreeBSD AMI ID pages

In 2021 I started publishing FreeBSD AMI IDs in the SSM Parameter Store; this made it much easier for scripts to launch EC2 instances without needing to have hard-coded AMI IDs. (Indeed, I use this extensively in my regression testing, to launch e.g. the most recent 14.4-STABLE image.) While this is useful for scripts, it's not so useful for humans.

To address this, I've added pages to the FreeBSD website with lists of AMI IDs for 15.0-RELEASE and (building on the work I did last month to start producing patched FreeBSD AMIs) lists of AMI IDs for the latest 15.0-RELEASE-pX images. I'll update the page with the latest patched AMI IDs every time I publish new patched AMIs; this will probably happen a few hours after each security advisory. These pages support filtering the list by region, architecture, flavour, and root filesystem; the formatting is rough and subject to change (feel free to send patches).

Thanks to Amazon for sponsoring this work!
